Had a great day in Manchester with Brett and Kristie Harkness. Cold, tired and even ill but I enjoyed it a huge amount!

Time to change my life?
Sadly my friends were leaving sunday and the weather forecast was pretty grim for someone travelling on two wheels, for the week to come, so I headed home.
I have been inspired though, I have realised I need to change my life and most importantly my locations. For too long I have been doing a job because the pay is good, or the pension options are good. I havent really been happy where I am for a few years now and I have realised I need to change something to make a difference.
So the planning and research starts, I intend to look into wht I would need to do to move to Devon, what my work options would be, what my house buying options would be, you get the idea. I do have options, I Just have to make them happen.
I have never felt so at home, as I was close to the sea in Devon and I need to feel like that every day.

Just a shot from my first wedding shoot :) Fun, hard work but rewarding.
They loved their photos thankfully, which made it very worthwhile.

Ellie and Chris, but I added some blur
I too the day off today. A friend from photographers corner website kindly arranged for her niece and boyfriend to come with her to practice shooting a couple in white and black. For those who dont know much about photography, white is a nightmare to photograph, as it is very easy to overexpose it. Black is the opposite of course and so the two together are rather difficult. Just as you would get at a wedding.
So Chris and Ellie kindly came along, and not only that dressed in black and white. It was mainly for my benefit to practice the exposure control and flash control.
Still some nice images came out and I learnt a great deal. Only 3 weeks now until the wedding. :o

Fire in the sky (ufo?) 2 Warwickshire England
This isnt a joke or a faked image, as one friend asked me. I genuinely saw this odd phenomena.
Saturday night I saw something fascinating and odd. I saw a ball of flame rise up over the horizon, level out and go straight over me very very slowly. I was so surprised I stopped my car in the middle of the countrylane.
I realised then another 2 followed it on exactly the same line. This went on for a good 5 minutes before I realised I had my camera... 3 in a row then seemed to take a different direction. DOh get that camera out!! It was hard to capture the last one as it went across the sky, but oddly this one didnt vanish as the others did it stayed in one place for a couple of minutes. THe pics are bad but it was the best I could do.
Meteors? They looked almost like flames the pics dont really show it :(

Very belated day 29 - Rest Bay, Wales
Another shot from the same shoot, seems to be the one everyone prefers. :)
Rest Bay, South Wales
Had a great day Saturday, drove down to Wales with a friend. With the intention of getting some sunset pics.
I figured west coast = sunset (Im no good at morning and the east coast is too far). The sky was bland and hazy all day, but sunset didnt let me down :)
