I too the day off today. A friend from photographers corner website kindly arranged for her niece and boyfriend to come with her to practice shooting a couple in white and black. For those who dont know much about photography, white is a nightmare to photograph, as it is very easy to overexpose it. Black is the opposite of course and so the two together are rather difficult. Just as you would get at a wedding.
So Chris and Ellie kindly came along, and not only that dressed in black and white. It was mainly for my benefit to practice the exposure control and flash control.
Still some nice images came out and I learnt a great deal. Only 3 weeks now until the wedding. :o

Fire in the sky (ufo?) 2 Warwickshire England
This isnt a joke or a faked image, as one friend asked me. I genuinely saw this odd phenomena.
Saturday night I saw something fascinating and odd. I saw a ball of flame rise up over the horizon, level out and go straight over me very very slowly. I was so surprised I stopped my car in the middle of the countrylane.
I realised then another 2 followed it on exactly the same line. This went on for a good 5 minutes before I realised I had my camera... 3 in a row then seemed to take a different direction. DOh get that camera out!! It was hard to capture the last one as it went across the sky, but oddly this one didnt vanish as the others did it stayed in one place for a couple of minutes. THe pics are bad but it was the best I could do.
Meteors? They looked almost like flames the pics dont really show it :(
